Cost:

$50 per person,

$65 after September 13, 2008, Entry Cut-off date is September 15, 2008.

Due to certain regulations, only the first 175 registrations will be accepted.

$2000 Travel Voucher

As Always, there will be a prize format from top to bottom (as long as a fish is weighed in). You will also recieve a Lake Manitouwabing Big Fish Classic Tournament Fishing Towel.

 

The Dinner included with the tournament entry fee will be on Saturday September 27, 2008 at 7:30PM

Tournament Rules and Information

Eligible Fish Species
Northern Pike (Kept or Released)
Walleye (Check new regulations for Parry Sound District)
Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass (Kept or Released)

WE ENCOURAGE CATCH AND RELEASE FOR ALL FISH SPECIES. CAMERA KITS WILL BE SUPPLIED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS SO LARGE FISH CAN BE RELEASED WITHOUT BEING BROUGHT TO THE WEIGH SITES.

General Information
- The tournament will begin at 7:00 AM - Fri. Sept. 26 and the weigh station will close at
6:00 PM SHARP on Sat. Sept. 27.
- On Sun. Sept. 28, there will be the Sunday Big Fish Shootout for those who wish to participate.
Starts at 7:00AM and finishes at noon (12:00PM) SHARP. A special prize will be awarded for the biggest
fish OVERALL from the three eligible species.
- Dinner is on Sept. 27 from 7:30-8:30 PM. Prizes to follow. This is a DRY event. NO ALCOHOL AT THE DINNER.

Weigh-In Location and Times
Location: 27 Lizzie’s Lane, McKellar, ON and at Glenwood Cottages
Times: Friday: 11 AM -12 PM SHARP, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM SHARP
Saturday: 11 AM -12 PM SHARP, 5 PM - 6 PM SHARP
NOTE: The weigh station will close at the time posted. NO EXCEPTIONS.
NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED AT THE DESIGNATED WEIGH-IN AREAS

Rules
- The Person who catches the heaviest fish in each category (Bass, Pike, Walleye) will be
entered into a draw for the top three prizes.
- All boats MUST be equipped with the proper safety equipment.
- All boats will be assigned a camera and measuring kit which must be returned prior to
the prize ceremony, or no prizes will be awarded.
- Live Bait is permitted.
- Fishing Licence is required.
- No fish that has been previously frozen will be eligible.
- Fishing MUST occur on LAKE MANITOUWABING ONLY.
- Tournament Director will have final say on the weight of any fish.

Important Information
- Ontario boaters caught operating a vessel while drinking can now lose their motor vehicle driver's
licence. People who are convicted of boating while intoxicated will automatically have their driver's
license suspended for 90 days. As of 2009, every person operating a powered vessel over 12 feet in length
will require a Pleasure Craft Operator Licence.
